Artificial Intelligence and Education: Transmitting Knowledge Without Replacing Personal Relationships

Artificial intelligence can become a magnificent tool for transmitting knowledge, provided that it is used in the service of the person and in accordance with the principles of the Rome Call for AI Ethics. However, the true educational act—accompanying, discerning, engaging in dialogue, and helping others to grow—can be fully carried out only through the personal relationship between educator and student.

Rethinking the University in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence invites us to rethink the meaning of the university and return to its origins: a community of people dedicated to the pursuit of truth, dialogue, and integral formation. In our view, the answer lies in recovering the person-centered scholastic tradition, enriched by current advances in neuroscience and artificial intelligence.
